On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary celebration, Ambassador of India invites to a festive gathering on Friday 2 October at Reykjavík City Hall.

The Ambassador has requested from Icelandic Adoption to mediate invitations to those who have been adopted from India to Iceland and their families. Those interested in attending the meeting can register by sending an email to cons.reykjavik@mea.gov.in, but availability is limited and those who register first will have priority. 
 
The Ambassador has also invited adoptees to come forward and show their talents, but the topic of the entertainment needs to be linked to Gandhi in some way. Those who are interested in shining their light can send an email to cons.reykjavik@mea.gov.in  with a suggested item.
 
The program starts at 16:30 and lasts until 18:30
There will be some speeches, film clips and hopefully some entertainment along with Indian refreshments. But most important is to meet up and get to know each other.
